Panel members:
Kannan Govindarajan,
Senior Architect, HP Laboratories. Kannan Govindarajan is currently
focused on creating new business opportunities for HP in the areas of
imaging and printing, and value chain management using web services technologies.
Kannan has recently returned from MIT Sloan after obtaining a Masters
in Management of Technology on a HP Resident Fellowship. Before his stint
at MIT Sloan, Kannan was one of the architects of e-speak, the HP technology
that helped create the web services market. He holds many patents on web
services, and is the author of several papers and w3c submissions relating
to web services. Prior to HP, Kannan was at Oracle. Kannan holds a PhD
in Computer Science from SUNY at Buffalo, and graduated from IIT Madras
in 1991.

Wendy received both a B.S. degree in Mathematical and Computational Sciences and an M.B.A. degree from Stanford University. Cindy Jennings, Assistant Director, MBA Admissions UCAL Berkeley, Haas School of Business. After graduating from UC Berkeley, Cindy worked for Talbots as a retail store manager for 5 years. Cindy has also interned at the UCAL Berkeley Counseling and Psychological Services acting as a career counselor for undergraduate and graduate students at Cal. She also held an admissions position at John F. Kennedy University in Moraga, California.
Reuben Loya, Principal, Exceptional People.
Reuben has over 12 years of first-hand knowledge of the technology
industry gained from working in technical support and training
environments where he developed and delivered training tools and
documentation for technical staff.
Reuben's career included providing consulting and training for top technology companies including: America Online, Lotus Development Corporation, Seibel Systems and Cygent Inc. He has extensive knowledge of software and hardware environments.
Vic Mahadevan, President and CEO, MaXXan.
Vic is a seasoned and visionary leader in the technology industry with
more than 22 years. Prior to joining MaXXan, Vic was the co-founder and
CEO of iVita Corp., an Enterprise Asset Management software company.
Before iVita, he served at BMC as the Vice President and General Manager
of the Enterprise Storage and Application Recovery Division, a $350M
business. Previously, Vic was Vice President and Divisional General Manager of the Enterprise Storage and Options Division at Compaq Computer Corporation. Vic led the creation of this division, which quickly became the fastest growing and most profitable group at Compaq with over $5 billion in revenues. Vic began his career as a management consultant at Research Triangle Institute. He also spent five years at Exxon Company U.S.A. in Marketing Operations. Vic holds a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology and a Masters' Degree in Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration from the University of Iowa.
Murrali Rangarajan, former President & CEO, Arula Systems. Murrali has over 20 years in the technology industry,
focusing on e-business and supply chain management. He has previously served
as President and CEO of Arula Systems a venture backed network management
company that was recently sold in a cash and stock transaction. Prior to
this he was President and CEO for about 8 years of iLogistix , a large private
supply chain company. He has also
served for many years in a variety of senior positions with Digital Equipment
Corporation and with the Ford Motor Company in Europe.
He is also an advisor , consultant and board member for a number of start-up companies and a frequent speaker in the areas of corporate culture in high growth and high performance organizations, B2B businesses, business operations scaling, and supply chain design and management. He is well known for his work in emphasizing culture and importance in growing organizations and is a student, speaker and teacher of high performance management techniques for individuals and organizations. Murrali Rangarajan holds a Bachelor's degree from IIT Madras, a Masters degree from Arizona State University in organizational development and operations and an MBA from UCLA in marketing and finance. He is a charter member of TiE Silicon Valley and a Co-Director of TiE institute, whose initial focus is soft-skills.
