Welcome to yet another Speaker series, “Network Silicon” organized by the IITB Alumni for the Alumni.

Two of the most successful Networking Silicon entrepreneurs and IITB Alumni will share their experiences with all of us. We will also have the pleasure of having Prof. SC Lakkad, Deputy Director of IITB with us.

• Kamal Gunsagar (BTech '66) will share his experience on founding Lara Networks, an Optical Component company acquired by Cypress for $225M
   

• Madan Avadhani (BTech '87) and Vijay Parmar (BTech '83) will share their experience in founding VxTel, a VoIP company acquired by Intel for $550M
   

• Prof. S.C. Lakkad, Deputy Director IITB, will update us on IITB and cement our ties with our Alma Mater

Do come along with all batch-mates, friends, family and network and reminisce those wonderful days. Prepare to leave with a lot of fire and motivation, to replicate what a few of us have already done.

Chapter Update

• We had a great Hike and are planning to have more in the near future. Watch out your mailboxes.
   

• We are having an IITB Alumni Annual Picnic at Huddard Park on the 18th August. So mark your calendars. Lets make this one the biggest ever.
   

• We are having a grand Diwali Celebration on the 3rd of November which will be another Gala event with a Cultural Show by the Alumni. Remember PAF??
