IITBHF San Francisco Bay Area Chapter

The IITBHF Bay Area Chapter is kicking off the 2001 Speaker Series and a host of other activities to continue to build the community of IIT'ians in and around the San Francisco Bay Area.

As our very first event for 2001, we would like to invite you and your family to be with Rakesh Mathur and Rashmi Mishra on Saturday, June 2, at 16:00 Hrs at the Recreation Room of Elance Inc, 820A Kifer Road, Sunnyvale, CA 94086.

Rakesh will be speaking on "Entrepreneurship at IIT" with a live Case Study of "Right Half", a start-up incubated in IIT Bombay. Rakesh was a co-founder of Junglee.com and is presently the Founder/CEO of PurpleYogi.com.  Rashmi Mishra will speak on "India through a Woman’s Perspective". Rashmi is a founding Chairperson of VIDYA, a Delhi based NGO, working with women and children from Delhi's slums in a program of education, empowerment and social change.
