The second speaker series was also a big success with about 50 alumni from various IITs and other engineering colleges showing up. This speaker series was organized thanks to a sponsorship by TIBCO. The topic of the panel discussion was "Perspectives on Internet and Enterprise Security". Ameet Zaveri moderated the panel consisting of Rajeev Khanolkar (President of NetCom), Sanjay Uppal (CEO of Caymas) and Ambarish Malpani (CTO of Cenzic). Each speaker presented an interesting talk followed by almost an hour of Q&A.

The second happy hour turned out to be a much more lively one with alumni from areas as far as Los Angeles turning up. That just goes to show how popular the bay area chapter is. About 30 people showed up for the event ranging from early 80s to early 2000s.  We stuck around till about 9:30 when we decided thats all the fun we could take for one evening.
Here are the photos of the event. We plan to have the next happy hour in June.  See you all there.

The first IITB Happy Hour for 2006 was held on Feb 23rd, at The Duke of Edinburgh. Since such an event had not been organized for almost a year, we had some concern that not enough people would show up. Here are the photos of the event. We were pleasantly surprised. Over 25 IITB Alums showed up ranging from the Batch of 1970 to the Batch of 2002. We plan to have a Happy Hour every other month. So the next one will be in April. Hope to see you there.
