Srini Chari

As General Manager of Solutions, Srini Chari is responsible for all the solution operations including marketing, architecture, development, support, and strategic relationships with business partners and customers.
Chari has over 20 years of experience in High Performance Computing, Computational Engineering and Science. As Program Director, Emerging Businesses, Corporate Strategy at IBM, Chari provided strategy and execution leadership in several Emerging Business Opportunities including the e-Business On Demand, Grid and Autonomic Computing, Business Process and Workflow Integration, and Pervasive Computing.
Prior to his position in corporate strategy, Chari was Senior Manager of Architecture and Strategy for the Life Sciences business unit at IBM where he was responsible for managing a wide range of strategic IT architecture and development initiatives in conjunction with customers and business partners. In his 13 years at IBM, he has held a variety of technical, marketing and sales positions in high performance computing, e-business, and computer aided design and manufacturing.
Chari holds an MBA from the Stern School of Business at New York University,
a Ph.D. in Computational Mechanics and Engineering from the University of Texas,
and a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of
Technology in Madras, India.
