Rajeev Khanolkar

Rajeev Khanolkar co-founded NetCom Systems with Niten Ved.
Rajeev brings over 25 years of experience in technology and IT management to his
role as Co-Founder and President. His strong background in management,
engineering and mathematics as well as his entrepreneurial spirit has helped
position NetCom Systems as a premier professional services company.
While at NetCom Systems, Rajeev pioneered the Security Information Management
space (SIM) in the late 90’s and co-founded netForensics, Inc (Spin-off from
NetCom Systems in 1999) a security information management software company.
Rajeev served as CEO of netForensics from May 1999 to Sept 2005 after which he
returned to NetCom Systems as President.
While at netForensics he was responsible for leading the company from inception
to a global leader in Internet security information management. He was
instrumental in raising $32m in venture funding for netForensics during the
growth phase of the company. Under his leadership the company won many
technology and business leadership awards between 2001 and 2005. netForensics
was listed as the fastest growing technology company in NJ by Deloitte in 2004
and again as one of the top 10 fastest growing companies 2005. Rajeev was
instrumental in the setting up of many key business relationships on a worldwide
basis including Cisco (OEM), HP and Deloitte.
Rajeev’s extensive network engineering, enterprise management and security
background has helped NetCom Systems achieve strategic partnerships with global
organizations like Computer Associates, Cisco Systems and IBM. In his role as
Co-Founder and President, Rajeev provides the strategic vision and focus for
NetCom Systems growth.
Prior to NetCom Systems, Rajeev held a number of senior management positions in
organizations like Xecute Information Systems, Teachers Insurance and Annuity
Association and General Electric Corporation Turbine Generators. He holds a
Master of Science in Thermodynamics from the University of Birmingham, Great
Britain and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the
Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, India. Khanolkar is also a Charter
Engineer Member of Institute of Engineering, UK.
