
Gaurang Master
Vice President and Secretary of IIBAA-GNY Chapter (2003 & 2004)
Gaurang graduated from IIT Bombay in 1966 with degree in Chemical Engineering (Hostel 4). Later he attended University of Michigan, Ann Arbor for Master's degree in Chemical Engineering. Gaurang built a career in process design and project management in consulting firms and pharmaceutical industry. Currently he is working at Nice-Pak Products, a Global Leader in moistened wipes making products for health care, food, consumer and institutional customers.
Gaurang is very active in his community and has led a team of concerned Rutherford citizens to ensure that people's needs were met in the Department of Transportation's (DOT) project to replace the Passaic River Bridge on Route 3. He represented Rutherford residents in a Community Liaison Group to work with DOT, and representatives from other affected towns and agencies.
Gaurang has been involved with our chapter related activities for many years and has played many leadership roles. He was honored with Distinguished Services Award by IITB in 1999.
Gaurang currently lives with his wife Kim in Rutherford, New Jersey. They have a son and a daughter.
