The PANIIT Diwali Dhamaka involved cultural competition between the 7 campuses. Each campus had 15 min to perform on the theme “Credit Crunch”. The competition was extremely tough this year with great performances by all IITs. IITB team was the last to perform on stage and put up another spectacular show titled “Crunch ka Punch”. and won the competition. Great effort from the entire team (involving alumni, spouses and children).
Few comments from audience about IITB performance:
I just loved IIT-B’s performance last night! You guys were awesome… tight script, great humor, great acting, dances, singing, and good use of lighting, props, etc. Transitions were seamless… separated you from the rest! Good job!
"How do you guys pull this off? Where do you buy your sets from?"
Congratulations for winning 4 of the 7 Diwali Dhamaka’s. It is almost getting monotonous. I think we need to introduce a Runners up trophy.

Just wanted to say how enjoyable this whole experience has been for me. We put this show every Diwali but this Diwali Dhamaka was special because of several reasons.
It feels good for y'all to include folks from the "uncle's batch" :-)
Let me tell you it feels really good to be back among this amazing family. Boy I was missing out over the last 5 years....
This has got to be the most intense Diwali Dhamaka so ever. I still can't believe we accomplished so much on such a tight schedule. It was so cool to see all of us give it our very best: from making the script that much tighter, the prods that much cooler and the dances that much more energetic.
