Swami Pragyapad shares the secret of centered, calm living at the Neshoba Unitarian Universalist Church in Cordova| P.V. Krishna joins IEEMA as Director General
Breath, yoga and meditation -- an easy way to health and happiness. So says Swami Pragyapad during the "Health & Happiness" workshop addressing more than 40 enthusiasts at the Neshoba Unitarian Universalist Church in Cordova.
The event was organized by the local chapter of the Art of Living Foundation, which is committed to introducing individuals to the secret of centered, calm living through yoga, breathing techniques and meditation.
Pragyapad, the international director of the AOLF, is a graduate of the renowned Indian Institute of Technology in Mumbai, India. He has been closely associated with His Holiness Sri Sri Ravi Shankar (the founder of the AOLF) for more than 15 years, traveling all over the world spreading the message of love, compassion and service. A senior faculty of AOLF, he conducts courses on yoga and meditation that are attended by thousands of people who experience healing and solace.

Indian Electrical & Electronics Manufacturers' Association (IEEMA) - the apex body for the Indian power equipment manufacturing industry has appointed Mr. P.V. Krishna as its Director General. He will be taking over from the current incumbent, Mr. S.P. More on 1St July 2010.
P.V. Krishna, a graduate in Electrical Engineering from IIT Bombay of 1975 batch, also holds Masters in Management from IIM Calcutta. He started his professional career with NELCO, in their Industrial Electronic Systems division. Thereafter he worked with Jyoti Ltd., Baroda in their Switchgear division for 19 years mainly in Transmission & Distribution product range followed by a 12 year stint at Wärtsilä, a Finnish company best known in India for its role as a leader in Captive Power Plants for industries, and liquid fuel & natural gas based IPPs.
Since 1998, P.V. Krishna has been a member of IEEMA’s Executive Council, having been elected for 12 consecutive terms. As an Executive Council member, he is known for his balanced insights, comprehensive analysis, goal orientation and, above all, a passionate dedication to all that IEEMA stands for. He has also been a member of the last three ELECRAMA organizing committees.
