The current imbroglio between the top Formula One teams and the sport's governing body FIA notwithstanding, ace Indian driver Narain Karthikeyan today hoped that the issue would be resolved soon.
"Its quite interesting... I read the FIA (International Automobile Federation) president Max Mosley's statement today that things don't look good as of now, but come March 2010 you'll find everyone on the circuit," Karthikeyan told reporters.
"Personally I feel both have a lot to offer each other and they will come to a compromise soon," he said on the sidelines of the launching ceremony of 'Agni', the Formula Student 2009 car of IIT Bombay Racing team.
The Formula One Teams Association, which represents cream of the F1 teams, and the FIA are at loggerheads after the latter announced introduction of a voluntary 40 million pounds budget cap for the 2010 season.
Eight major teams — Ferrari, Brawn GP, McLaren-Mercedes, BMW-Sauber, Toyota, Red Bull, Toro Rosso and Renault on Friday threatened to form a rebel championship if the condition is not withdrawn.
