Job Posting - IITBAA CEO

The IIT Bombay Alumni Association (IITBAA), a nine year old non-profit company with more than 5000 members on its rolls, is seeking a young, highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills to become its Chief Executive Officer. S/he would be expected to manage fund-raising and provide strategic, collaborative insight to run the Association's alumni relations, events and programs.

If this job fits your profile, you are an entrepreneurial, never-say-die person who loves challenges with extensive knowledge of managing events and volunteer development. You must have the unique ability to recognise the needs and interests of students and alumni, and the experience to develop programs, products, and services to meet those needs. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required as is the demonstrated ability to set priorities, exercise excellent judgement, and work with diplomacy and discretion in a high pressure environment. In this role, you will be networking with Institute functionaries, senior Industry head honchos, scientists, academics and others. You will have to energise activities of Chapters across cities in India and abroad and be the pivot around which IIT Bombay alumni from countries across the world revolve.

The IITBAA office is based in IIT Bombay's Powai campus in Mumbai with a small body of dedicated staff and is actively assisted by an elected Board of Directors who are also IIT Bombay Alumni.
