Hostel 9 - Pluto

Dear Alum,

A warm welcome to you who have added to the legacy of this hostel by being a part of it.

Full of life, as Hostel 9 is always, we were literally on a roll last year. We were on a high in Cult GC, fininshing 2nd overall, with podium finishes in Gyrations, Main Dram GC, Film GC and Instrumental Duet. We topped the FA GC, now for 2 consecutive years. Surely, "FA is in the blood of H9".

However, Cult is not the only area where we've been rolling. We have fared well on the Sports front too, by grabbing the top spot in Volleyball, making a comeback from 18 - 9 down in the 2nd set of the final match. Some other events in which we had a good performance were Carrom, Chess, Athletics, Crossy and Sophie Footer(we gave H4 a drubbing, they won't forget for some time :) ).

The hostel fest, "9tanki 1.0" was revived successfully and we are bracing ourselves for a bigger and better, "9tanki 2.0", this year.

We hosted a grand reunion last December, silver jubilee special for the batch of '85. With the launch of HATS in every hostel, and the disbursement of the token money for the Mess Worker's Incentive Fund, the hostel witnessed a grand dinner with alumni, students and mess workers dining together.

Regarding HATS, Prof Ali Contractor, made a big leap by generously donating for the hostel HATS account. Do checkout our wishlist here. And here to know how to help us! :)

The hostel is planning a bigger reunion on December 25, 2011. The celebration will be merry-er, on the eve of the Christmas Day. The registration is going to be put up soon.
