Make Hostel My Home(MH*2)

Make Hostel My Home - To encourage and empower students to improve their living environment and facilities.
 
Elected student body would conduct periodic audits of the hostel facilities to develop an actionable correction plan and put up notices & post photos on the web for full visibility, which will make it easier/pressing for council and concerned authorities to act. With the help of the institute and hostel student bodies, the alumni would establish a rotating trophy and collectively award it to the best hostel on campus; based on cleanliness/facilities.
 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Problem Bad Situation Of Cycle Stand, mainly due to A lot of scrap lying around, like broken beds, broken tables, etc.

Actions Planned The entire scrap is needed to be gotten rid of. That will improve the area at the Cycle Stand. Basically, since most of the stuff @ the scrap are institute given property, the hostel cannot get rid of them on their own. The institute is needed to write them off the register, and then sell off the materials to get rid of them. It is VERY URGENT & IMPORTANT to get rid of the scrap mainly due to health issues.

Action Planned The HMC in coordination with the PHO needs to clean off the entire area where a lot of construction materials are lying around.

Problem Bad condition of Ceiling in a lot of rooms all over the Hostel.

Action Planned A lot of the rooms need proper ceiling renovation to be done ASAP. In the rainy season the condition worsens, as these rooms face dripping water throughout the rains. Also, apart from dripping, many of the other rooms also face seepage of rain water all over the Rainy Season. Almost every 2nd floor room faces seepage/leekage of water.
