This year's MI also saw an effort to portray the culture of the city through an exhibition aptly titled 'Indradhanush'. A series of lectures were organised as part of the exhibition. 'Horizons' - the workshop series - was graced by TV personality Annu Kapoor and by eminent cartoonists like Unny and Sabu. The Ball Dancing Workshop was a very big draw - especially among the IITians public.
Competitions at MI this year carried a whopping prize money of over 2 lakhs and saw a
bevy of colleges fighting it out. IIT Bombay decimated the opposition in the Lit. trophy
and ended up as the winners of the overall GC also, leaving St. Xavier's a distant
second!! CRY took an active part in the goings on with themes related to Child Labour
being given as topics for a lot of events.
