IIT Bombay Alumni Reunion

Goa, September 4-5, 2010

IIT Bombay and IIT Bombay Alumni Association invites you to an Alumni reunion held over two weekend days on on Sept 4^th and Sept 5^th, 2010, at National Institute of Oceanography, Goa. The event will cover lectures and seminars on topics pertaining to development in India - Triple ' E’ for Energy, Education and Environment. The participants will get involved, network and in the evening relax at the various social get-togethers organized.

This is the first of the reunions planned in a series that will work towards previously identified six key imperatives of India namely Water & Sanitation, Entrepreneurship, Social Innovation, Energy, Education and Environment. At this meet alumni will a) discuss the Vision 2020 document which was prepared for IIT Bombay by McKinsey and b) work towards three of these - christened 'Triple E' - Education, Energy and Environment. Importantly,these areas have made good progress in terms of project success with the active involvement of faculty at a leadership level working along with alumni. This is an encouraging start and the plan is to take the effort further into action items on projects to be executed in a timely manner.

It is hoped that a large number of alumni come to Goa to take part, catch up with friends and enjoy themselves at this reunion.
