Helping Hand
A hand up, not a hand out - that is what the IIT Bombay Alumni Association / Heritage Fund want to offer IIT Bombay alumni in need. We often hear about alumni undergoing difficult times due to layoffs or family emergencies. Connecting these alumni in need with other alumni who are in position to help is the goal of this initiative.
The kinds of assistance that we could provide include:
- Assistance with job search
- Networking with alumni and other IITians
- Temporary assistance for staying arrangements for out-of-town assignments
- Contacting friends or family in India or elsewhere in an emergency

While we may not be able to help in every instance, IITBAA and IITBHF will strive to tap the resources of the global alumni network to assist in any way possible, within the bounds of the legal obligations of each entity.
