The IIT Bombay Heritage Fund (IITBHF) (http://www.iitbombay.org) is pleased to announce the launch of Fund Raising Campaign 2000.

IIT Bombay has been recognized as the #1 Engineering college in India by India Today and the 3rd best in Asia by AsiaWeek. To build on this accomplishment, IIT Bombay - in consultation with the Heritage Fund - has set some ambitious goals for Campaign 2000 to help maintain IIT Bombay's "Tryst with Excellence". They are counting on us, the extended family, for input and support. All donations are tax deductible for US residents since the IITBHF is a non-profit organization which received its status as a tax-exempt organization from the US IRS on July 5, 1996.

All alumni registered in the IITBHF Alumni Directory will receive a package by mail in the third week of November.  Please visit our web site for information on how much of an impact alumni are alread making on IIT Bombay, and for news and information of interest to IIT Bombay student, faculty and alumni all over the world.

Your donation to the IIT Bombay Heritage Fund may be eligible for a matching grant which could potentially double or even triple your donation.  Please take a few moments to get a Matching Gift Form from your personnel office and follow the directions to initiate a match.  Click here for a list of companies that may match gifts to IITBHF.

We look forward to a positive response and thank you in advance for your participation.

Kind regards,
